He's a Pour Horse!
Sculpted by me, Adalee Velasquez, Callahan belongs to and will be produced by Pour Horse Pottery, but first, a small all- custom edition was produced here. I'm very excited by this new sculpt, and all of the wonderful colors in which Irish Cobs come! Callahan is LB scale, and measures appx. 4"h x 6.5"l. He's got a bit of snot in him, with his wild, hair-whipping canter going on, or maybe he's just showing off! In any case, he's a fun little guy with plenty of "goo" and wrinkles, and lots & lots of hair!
How my Callahan Distribution worked:
The public Callahan edition was distributed at the beginning of December 2010, through the VelasquezArtisty Yahoo Group. I may paint another piece or two in the future, and I plan on doing a claybody to be sold at BOYCC. More pieces will be offered later by Pour Horse.
Please note:
- Pieces were sold first come/first serve, in two batches that day.
- Time Payments were available

- Pour Horse Pottery will be handing their own distribution of this piece, including CM's and OF's.
- Pour Horse Plans to do a small OF run for BOYCC!

You've got to love the traditional Irish/Gypsy Cob tobiano! Very classic. That is why I just had to do one for Callahan's debut pictures!
This is one scritchy and spotty guy! Honestly, I hadn't intended to make him so elaborate- I started with just an idea for a leopard appy, but he had other ideas, and so I ran with it!
